Vanilla Cake Mix

You will need:

1/2 cup butter, room temperature

2 large eggs, room temperature

1/2 cup water, room temperature

2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 F and generously grease two 9” round cake pans. 

Combine butter and sugar packet in a bowl and mix until well blended.  Add eggs and mix until well blended.  Mix dry ingredients packet well and then add to bowl, alternating with the water/vanilla, until well blended.  The mixture will thicken as you mix.  Spread batter evenly into greased pans.  Bake for 30 minutes or until the top of the cake springs back (~205 F internal temp). Cool on baking racks and have fun decorating! 🤩
